AI Consultants in West Sussex: Who They Are and How to Choose
Five firms that offer AI consulting or automation to small businesses, plus the publisher of this site. Each is described from its own website. Not a ranking.
Five firms say on their own websites that they are based in West Sussex and offer AI consulting or automation: Drizzlebot in Bognor Regis, Ettiecus, Inferred in Horsham, Saulera in East Grinstead and South Coast Apps. Two more reach the county from outside it: AI Coach, founded by Kasra Dash, and Dean Keating, who works remotely from Horndean, Hampshire (call or WhatsApp 07418 627304). This is a list, not a ranking. Dean Keating publishes this directory.
Read this first
This page is a list. Nobody on it is scored or called the best. We have not used any of these firms. What we say about them comes from their own websites, which we read on 10 October 2026. Websites change, so check each one before you ring.
Chichester Directory is published by Dean Keating, who is one of the seven names here. He sits last, he is labelled as the publisher, and he is not based in West Sussex.
Firms that give a base in the county come first, in alphabetical order.
Based in West Sussex
Drizzlebot. drizzlebot.co.uk calls itself a small product studio in Bognor Regis. It says it has traded for two years and works in person across Sussex and the South East, and remotely anywhere. Its services page lists websites from £500, AI voice agents and receptionists, business process automation, booking and reminder systems, custom software, and consulting with an audit at £950. For the AI and automation work it publishes no starting price and says the price is fixed on a call before work begins. You start by booking a strategy call.
Ettiecus. ettiecus.com says it is based in West Sussex and gives no town on the pages we read. Its founder, Leo Montgomery, writes that he has worked in aviation and insurance technology. It lists workflow automation, custom AI systems, an AI assistant for social media posts built on WhatsApp, an out-of-hours AI call handler, and reporting workflows. Its about page says you can start from £50 a month. You start with a free 30-minute call.
Inferred. inferred.co.uk says it is based in Horsham. It describes an AI consultancy for owner-managed firms of roughly 5 to 100 staff in Sussex and Surrey, and says most projects include at least one visit. The sequence on its site is a free 15-minute conversation, then an Operations Audit priced at £895 with a written report you keep, then a fixed written proposal. It also builds private AI and business systems. You start with the free conversation.
Saulera. saulera.com describes back-office workflows and AI consultancy for owner-run businesses, and gives East Grinstead as its base. It is run by one person who says he spent twelve years building email systems for brands. His site says nothing is sent, spent or deleted without your approval. It lists a free 30-minute intro call, a paid review at £650, monthly work at £650 for businesses under ten people and £1,000 for larger teams, and larger builds from £4,500.
South Coast Apps. southcoastapps.co.uk says it is based in West Sussex, works across Sussex and Hampshire, and gives a registered office in Chichester. It builds websites and also does systems, integrations and automation, using AI "only where it has a clear, controlled role". Its pricing page shows website prices; we found no price for the automation work. You start with a project enquiry through its contact page.
Reaching West Sussex from elsewhere
AI Coach (Kasra Dash). bestaiconsultant.co.uk has a page for West Sussex and twelve town pages beneath it. It says Kasra Dash works with SMEs and growing businesses in the county, remotely and on site. Its site does not state where the business is based. It lists SOP automation, AI marketing automation, remote and in-person training, and custom AI tools. You start with a free 30-minute call. We found no prices on the pages we read.
Dean Keating, trading as Ai Business Coach (publisher of this directory). Dean is based in Horndean, Hampshire, a few miles from the West Sussex border. He has no office in the county and does the build work remotely. His website says he can visit businesses in Hampshire or nearby, so ask early whether that covers you. He starts with a free call, and his website says you leave with a plan you can use with or without him. After that he builds AI agents, installs them in the tools you already use, and trains your team. He publishes no price list; the cost is given after the call. Call or WhatsApp 07418 627304. More in our guide to hiring an AI consultant.
How they differ
- Where they are. Three name a town: Bognor Regis, Horsham and East Grinstead. Two give only the county, one with a registered office in Chichester. One does not state a base. One is in Hampshire.
- Advice or building. Inferred and Saulera begin with a paid or free review before anything is built. Drizzlebot, Ettiecus and Dean Keating describe building working systems. South Coast Apps starts from websites and systems.
- In person or remote. Inferred says visits are normal. Drizzlebot works in person across Sussex. AI Coach offers in-person workshops. Dean Keating works remotely by default.
- How you pay. The stated routes include a flat monthly fee, a paid audit, a fixed price agreed on a call, and a price given after a free call.
How to use this list
Pick two or three whose description matches your size and the job you want done. Write one page about the task that costs you most time and send it to each. Our brief for an AI consultant shows how. Ask what the first working version does, which of your tools it runs inside, and what happens when it cannot cope.
What we could not check
We have not seen anyone's work, spoken to their clients or tested their claims. We found no pricing for AI Coach or for South Coast Apps' automation work. Ettiecus and AI Coach did not give a town. If you run an AI consulting firm based in the county and want to be added, email dean@deankeating.com and we will read your site and list you on the same terms.
