Dean Keating: The AI Automation Consultant Who Publishes Chichester Directory

Three things to know first

1. He builds AI agents for small businesses and installs them where the team already works.
2. He lives and works in Horndean, Hampshire, and serves West Sussex remotely.
3. His entry here is the publisher’s own. It is labelled, it is not ranked and nobody has paid for it.

Why a consultant sits among the garages and cafés

This directory is organised by category. On 10 October 2026 it listed 82 garages and MOT centres, 90 pubs and bars, 66 cafés, 65 beauty salons, 51 dog groomers and 49 estate agents, among others. Each is ordered by its public Google rating, and nobody pays to move up.

Dean Keating publishes the directory and also sells the AI service, so he has a profile under AI Automation. He has no rated Google business listing, which means there is no score to rank him on and we have not invented one. Read what follows as a description from the people who wrote it, not a review.

What he builds

His website lists the jobs: replying to new enquiries within minutes, day or night; following up every lead until they book or say no; sending quotes and chasing the unanswered ones; booking jobs into the diary; answering common questions across email, web and WhatsApp; sorting and routing messages; sending updates, confirmations and reminders; handing difficult cases to a person; raising invoices; chasing late payments; copying details between systems; and writing the weekly report.

It describes the service as installed for you, not handed over. He builds the agents, puts them on your systems, trains the team and supports it afterwards.

Where he works from

Horndean is in Hampshire, north of Portsmouth. The build and install are done remotely, and the website says that works anywhere in the UK. It also says he can visit businesses in Hampshire or nearby. Ask on the first call whether a visit makes sense for you, and if you want someone in the room regularly, look at providers based in the Chichester area as well.

How the first call goes

A free call to talk through how the business runs. Then an audit of the work worth automating, the build and install, and training and support. He starts with the single task that would make the most difference. You leave the call with a plan you can use with or without him.

The cost is given after that call. There is no published price list and no obligation.

What his website says about him

It says he is a Shopify 10K Award winner, has more than ten years in marketing and has driven more than a million orders through Meta ads. It also says he spent five years as a professional stand-up comedian before moving into marketing. He builds websites for trades and small businesses and does SEO too, at deankeating.com. These are his own claims and we have not checked them independently.

What it is not

Not a course, not a phone-answering service and not a chatbot product you set up yourself.

About this guide

Chichester Directory is published by Dean Keating, who also runs the service described here. He is based in Horndean, Hampshire, not in Chichester, and works with Chichester and West Sussex businesses remotely. If you want someone in the room, say so on the first call and look at Chichester-based providers too. This guide recommends our own service, so compare it with other providers before you decide.
