Chichester Directory Editorial3 October 2026

Chichester District Council's leisure centres page names three centres, The Bourne, Chichester and Grange, and says its leisure services are managed by More Leisure, which is operated by Serco Leisure in partnership with Leisure Solutions Community Trust. Hours and timetables are More Leisure's to change, so check its pages before you travel.

Bourne and The Grange

  • Bourne Leisure Centre, Park Road, Southbourne, PO10 8PG, phone 01243 376 101. More Leisure lists a gym, workout classes, personal training and birthday parties. Hours are published as Monday to Thursday 7am to 9pm, Friday 7am to 8pm, Saturday 7am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm.
  • The Grange Community and Leisure Centre, Bepton Road, Midhurst, GU29 9HD, phone 01730 815 285. More Leisure lists a gym, two squash courts, group exercise, a health suite and a sports hall for badminton and five-a-side football. Hours are published as Monday to Friday 7am to 10pm, Saturday 7.30am to 5pm and Sunday 9am to 5pm.

What the pages disagree on

The council's summary says its three centres have three swimming pools and a waterslide at Chichester only. The More Leisure pages we read list a pool at Westgate only and say nothing of a waterslide. We therefore state no pool count or waterslide, and suggest you confirm facilities with the centre. If you live in Fishbourne, Summersdale, Bosham, Lavant or Tangmere, the pages do not say which centre is closest, so use a journey planner; the buses guide and train stations guide cover public transport.

How to book

Join, book classes and book swims through the More Leisure pages for each centre, or call the numbers above. For outdoor space and play areas see the parks and kids guide, and for accessible parking see the Blue Badge guide.
